Supplying Air source heat pumps installations around the south west
With the governments push to reduce carbon emmissions, air source heat pumps are the only real option to do this with. If you choose to have a heat pump fitted with us, we can apply for the £7500 government grant and thus reducing the overall cost of the installation.
What is a heat pump though?
An air source heat pump, sometimes referred to as an air-to-water source heat pump, transfers heat from the outside air to water. This in turn heats your rooms via radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat water stored in a hot water cylinder for your hot taps, showers and baths.
Heat from the air is absorbed into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump, which raises the temperature and then transfers that heat to water.
Why you need checks
Gas safety checks are legally required to protect your property against gas leaks, fires, explosions, and carbon monoxide poisoning. In particular, residents want to be reassured that home appliances aren’t leaking carbon monoxide, the gas known as the silent killer, because it has no colour, taste, or smell. Fortunately, our Gas Safe engineers are qualified to test for this and issue gas safety certificates upon completion.
